Mindfulness & Social Emotional Learning in Education:

Professional Development for School Districts

One-day, two-day, or weekly professional development trainings and support groups for teachers and school staff in the area of mindfulness in education are offered through Awake Minds. These trainings provide information on personal practice, the science of mindfulness, and tools to bring mindfulness into classrooms and therapeutic services.

Mindfulness, Social Emotional Learning, and Yoga scope & sequence and curriculum for first through fourth grade and middle school through high school classrooms is also available after completion of training.

Self-Care Retreats for Educators

Knowing first hand the pressures and responsibilities that teachers experience, Meghan understands how vital self-care is as an educator.

Half-day and full-day self-care retreats are offered in person or online for educators. Retreats weave in personal mind/body practices of yoga and meditation, resources/tools for greater ease, improved sleep + well being, and tips for balance in and outside of school.

Mindfulness + SEL Classes for Students

Meghan offers secular-based mindfulness and Social Emotional Learning lessons in classrooms and after-school programs for Kindergarten through 12th graders, using the Mindful Schools curriculum.
